Control Room

This desk from 1976 has been extended from 20 channels to 24 and had transformer balanced direct outputs fitted to each channel. The routing modules (33723) and bus amps (33415) are all discrete electronics as are 4 of the mic pre/eqs.The other 20 mic pre/eqs (33115 x 22, 33114 x 2) have i.c. boards (BA638,BA640)

There are balanced insert points on the channels and groups with two auxillary sends as well as the 4 buses on the routing modules.

This is a desk from the classic era of Neve construction and has the sound that is associated with the designs created by Rupert Neve. The extensive use of transformers (Marinair, St Ives) and inductor based equalisation give a character to the music which is very much of its era and still sought after today.
